Local Soldiers Given Opportunity To Travel Home To Loved Ones Before Deployment

BOSTON/Nov 2015 – Military Friends Foundation is helping more than 100 Soldiers in the Massachusetts National Guard’s 1060th Transportation Company travel home to see loved ones before they deploy.  Members of the 1060th Transportation Company have been training out of state to prepare for a deployment to Kuwait later this year.  Each year taxpayers across the Commonwealth have an opportunity to make a donation on Question 32E – Mass. Military Family Relief Fund – on the MA State Tax Form to support local military families.  These donations will provide many Soldiers a $200 grant towards there travel home just in time for Thanksgiving.  Soldiers can apply for this grant by filing out the online form below or contacting their Command.
