Crisis Response Grant

If you are in an emergency situation, please dial 911 immediately. The Military Friends Foundation Crisis Response Grant provides urgent financial assistance to Massachusetts military families facing unexpected crises.

Who We Help

Service Members may qualify if you or your dependents have been impacted by situation such as:

A Service Member critically injured overseas or stateside
Residential fire resulting in significant or total loss of your home
Severe debilitating illness
Natural disaster resulting in significant or total loss of residence
Emergency travel for a deployed service member in a combat zone
Other unexpected crisis situations

Eligible applicants include:

Active Duty service members stationed in Massachusetts
Massachusetts National Guard members
Reservists residing in Massachusetts
Massachusetts Gold Star Families of all eras

Frequent requests include clothing assistance, temporary lodging, emergency travel, financial assistance for medical transports.

Proof of Military Service (DD214, LES, DD1300) | Prior to administering a grant we will work with you to verify your military service. Many applicants have lost paperwork in a fire or are unable to locate information immediately. Please continue to submit this application and our team will assist with tracking down proof of service by working with the Veterans Agent, Chain of Command or VA Records. If you have this information accessible you may upload it here. The files should have your Social Security Number redacted.
