OUR MISSION

Standing Beside Massachusetts Warriors and Their Families

In the immediate aftermath of the September 11th terrorist attacks, a group of Service Members and military families came together with one unwavering purpose—to ensure that our Massachusetts Warriors and their families would never face hardship alone. From that commitment, the Military Friends Foundation (MFF) was born.

Since our founding, we have provided millions of dollars in direct aid to Service Members and Gold Star Families across the Commonwealth. Our mission is clear: Assist Warriors. Empower Military Families. Honor Our Fallen.

Why Our Work is Critical:

Military families represent less than 0.5% of our nation’s population. These brave men and women, and those who stand beside them at home, shoulder sacrifices most Americans will never experience—multiple deployments, missed milestones, and the constant readiness to answer the call.

Yet, behind their courage, many face unexpected crises—injuries sustained in combat or training, devastating house fires, debilitating illnesses, or emergency travel needs during deployment. For Gold Star Families, the challenges are even deeper, as they navigate life after the loss of their loved one.

In these moments, help cannot wait. That is why MFF stands ready to provide rapid-response financial assistance, wellness programs, and community building events that strengthen resiliency and ensure no Massachusetts Warrior Family is left behind.

Led by Those Who Understand:

Military Friends Foundation is led by current and former military members and their families—people who know first-hand the unique challenges of service. That shared experience fuels our compassion, our urgency, and our dedication.

As a recognized 501(c)(3) tax-deductible charitable organization, your donation is an investment in the strength, dignity, and well-being of those who protect our freedoms. Military Friends Foundation is proud to be the official charity of Tough Ruck Nation.

Join Us:

We invite you to stand with us—whether as a donor, volunteer, or advocate—in building a Commonwealth where no Warrior Family faces hardship alone. Together, we can honor their sacrifices with action. That is our promise. That is our mission.
