March 7/BOSTON – “The Boston Athletic Association, as part of its long-standing commitment to the military community, is pleased to lend its enthusiastic support to the inspiring efforts of the Military Friends Foundation in organizing the 2014 Tough Ruck Project activities scheduled for April 19, 2014-the actual date of the original Patriots Day,” said Thomas Thomas S. Grilk Executive Director, Boston Athletic Association/Boston Marathon. The B.A.A. will support the April 19 Tough Ruck Project in specific ways now being defined. The Military Friends Foundation through the Tough Ruck Project will take the lead in organizing all who desire to ruck march on Patriots Day weekend this year as they display their strength and resiliency in the face of the events of April 15, 2013.
