Boston/December – The Boston Bruins Foundation will continue their long tradition of support for military families on Saturday, December 1st by selecting the Military Friends Foundation as the 50/50 Raffle recipient.  The public can help to support the Military Friends mission to support military families and families of Fallen Servicemembers right here in Massachusetts.  

This year Military Friends Foundation has:

• Provided $50,000 of direct food assistance to military families
• Flown home 4 deployed Soldiers for the birth of their new babies
• Provides emergency lodging and travel for families of Servicemembers injured on deployment
• Provided more than $200,000 in funeral assistance for families who have lost of loved one in military service and to the hidden wounds of war
• Gifted 1000 Blue Star flags to families of deployed Servicemembers
• Assisted Soldiers impacted by the Columbia Gas explosions
• Prevented 73 Military/Veteran Family members from facing homelessness
• and much much more!
