COVID-19 & Tough Ruck Postponement
March 13, 2020 – Tough Ruckers, As the President declares a National State of Emergency, our first thoughts are for the safety and health of you and your families. Shortly following this morning’s announcement of the Boston Marathon postponement, Massachusetts Governor Baker also announced an emergency order banning gatherings over 250 people. With the developing COVID-19 situation, Tough Ruck 2020 has been postponed.
Thank you to the hundreds of people who have called, emailed and messaged in the last few days with not only questions but sharing your desire to complete the mission and honor the Fallen. We are excited to let you know our team met this afternoon with local public safety officials and the National Park Service. We appreciate your patience as we work with our partners through the logistics of next steps.
As soon as we have definitive information on a date and location and options for Ruckers to participate, we will update you further. In the meantime, take care of yourself and your families.
