WHAT: Massachusetts Gold Star Families Bridge Dedication

Join us for a moving ceremony dedicating the newly designated Massachusetts Gold Star Families Bridgelocated at Veterans Memorial Park (formerly the Lynn Heritage State Park). This event honors the profound sacrifice of our Gold Star Families and ensures the enduring memory of their loved ones who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation.

This footbridge, which crosses over Route 1A, was officially designated by the state legislature as the “Massachusetts Gold Star Families Bridge.” It stands as one of the first of its kind in the nation, serving as a permanent beacon to honor and remember the families of the men and women from the Commonwealth who have died in military service or as a result of their military service since World War II.
