MAY/Boston – Bertucci’s Restaurant and Military Friends Foundation are set to serve hundreds of homeless veterans this Memorial Day weekend.   Veterans at the New England Center For Homeless Veterans will receive a full meal and special recognition from the groups.  “It is unacceptable that the word veterans and the word homeless appear in the same sentence,” said Military Friends Foundation President SGM Jim Kelly (ret.).  Military Friends Foundation is a grant recipient of a Department of Veterans Affairs grant who goal is to eliminate chronic veterans homeless.
