Worcester, MA – The Military Friends Foundation joined a sea of waving flags and overjoyed families today to officially welcome home the Soldiers of the 182nd Medical Company (Area Support). The unit returned to Massachusetts following a successful deployment to Poland in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve.

While deployed, these dedicated Warriors served as a backbone for regional stability, providing essential health services and comprehensive force health protection. Their mission ensured that U.S. and allied forces remained healthy, resilient, and mission-ready during a critical period for European security.

“Our nation is stronger because of the sacrifice and professionalism shown by the 182nd,” said Sarah Sweeney, Executive Director of Military Friends Foundation. “Today reminds us all of the profound weight of service. They stood the watch overseas, and now it is our turn to ensure they feel the full support of the community they call home.”

The homecoming marks the end of months of separation for the Soldiers and their loved ones. As an organization dedicated to supporting Massachusetts military families, the Military Friends Foundation provided emergency travel and other critical aid to the Soldiers of the 182nf Medical Company throughout the deployment.

To the Soldiers of the 182nd: We thank you for your unwavering commitment. Your community salutes you, and we are honored to have you back on American soil.
