Team Military Friends Runs Boston
Team Military Friends is running the 2024 Boston Marathon! At dawn on April 15th, our team will join 22,000 athletes to run 26.2 miles in support of our military, veterans and Fallen Warriors. They need your help to support our mission to Honor Fallen Warriors, Support Warrior Families, and Create Connectivity with the Military/Civilian Community. Their fundraising will literally provide a lifeline to Warrior Families across Massachusetts. Your support is critical!

After participating in the 2023 Tough Ruck to which my team raised nearly $50,000 for charity, I applied to represent the Military Friends Foundation for the 128th Boston Marathon in 2024. Who is the Military Friends Foundation? They are a charity that provides support to military families in need. I am honored to represent the Military Friends Foundation because they grant me an opportunity to represent my family members who served in the military from World War II, The Korean War, and The Vietnam War.
My only ask is that you join me in raising funds for the Military Friends Foundation. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those who have sacrificed so much for our country. Your donation will help provide financial assistance, emergency aid, and educational scholarships to military families facing hardships. Miliary Friends is an incredible organization that helps Massachusetts veterans. They provide financial aid, emergency assistance and educational resources to military families facing challenges. Many of our family and friends have sacrificed greatly for all of us and this country – I am grateful for this opportunity to help raise funds to give back to those that have served, as a thank you for all they have done for us.
In addition to being passionate about this organization – I am passionate about this race! It has long been a dream of mine to run Boston. I have run two other marathons in New England and always hoped to one day run Boston. Having grown up in the area – there is an energy and excitement about the marathon leading up to, during and after that day. I love being a part of it in any way – from watching the runners along the route to knowing someone running and watching their progress during the race. I am really excited to get to run with everyone that day!
