MILFORD – The Military Friends Foundation is pleased to announce that Thanks to Yanks has been awarded a Military Friends Partners-In-Service Grant to support their Annual “Thanks to Yanks” Children’s Magic Show. This show will take place on Sunday, January 29th at The Stacy Middle School Auditorium in Milford.
“We applaud Thanks to Yanks and the Shain’s for recognizing those who are serving in our Armed Forces. Attending their annual magic show and the 9/11 dinner has become an important tradition for so many military families across the state and we are proud to support this event,” said SGM Jim Kelly, President of the Military Friends Foundation, a non-profit serving Massachusetts National Guard, Reserve and Families of Fallen Service Members.
“The support that Thanks To Yanks receives from Military Friends assists us in serving those who serve our nation. We are honored to be associated with them,” said Michael Shain, a Milford resident, founder and chairperson of Thanks to Yanks. This year’s magic show is made possible through a generous donation from Charles River Bank and Military Friends Foundation.
